Nigeria Ready For Retaliation As UK Deports 500 Nigerians Today

DAVID CAMERON
Nigerians at home are currently bracing for a blazing diplomatic row with Britain as the United Knigdom plans to deport over 500 Nigerians who have been resident in that country today.
For over two weeks now, the affected Nigerians in the UK have been crying out to the Nigerian Government to come their rescue, but it appears their cry for help has fallen on deaf ears.
Some of these Nigerians are married to British nationals, and deporting now will mean that they may never get to see their families and loved ones in the UK again.
Sad enough too, the Nigerian Government has been uncomfortably silent on the allegation of Nigerian High Commission officials in the UK taking £3,000 bribe from UK officials to issue travel certificates to the affected Nigerians.
The families of the affected Nigerians at home here are wondering why the government is not taking any action on the issue, when of course,it is common knowledge that the British Government will never condone its own citizens being treated in the manner Nigerians are being treated in the UK.

BOKO HARAM CURRENT WORLD DEADLIEST TERRORISTS

A new study from the Institute for Economics and Peace has claimed that the Boko Haram insurgency group is currently the world’s deadliest terrorist group. The Global Terrorism Index 2015 puts Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in second place.
The report  indicated that Boko Haram was responsible for 6,644 deaths in 2014, while ISIS killed 6,073 people within the same period.

UTME Results is To be Valid for Three Years Instead of One Says Senate

Inside the chambers of the House of Representatives
The Nigerian senate has summoned leadership of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), to answer to its controversial admission policy. The House also asked JAMB to increase the validity of its results from one to three years to reduce the number of yearly applicants. Senate asked its committee on Education to inquire into the circumstances surrounding the new policy including allegations of favouritism and to review the power of JAMB in relation to admission. It urged the body to consult widely with Parents Teachers Association, Academic Staff Union of Universities and other stakeholders in the education sector with a view to coming up with a friendlier, holistic, comprehensive and sustainable admission policy.

FG BANS IMPORTATION OF SMALL GENERATORS (I BETTER PASS MY NEIGHBOUR)

The Federal Government has banned the importation of small generators popularly called 'I pass my neighbour,' used by low-income Nigerians. Controller, Federation Operations Unit Zone A, Lagos of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Mr Madugu Sanni Jubrin, disclosed this in Lagos while speaking with newsmen.
Quote
"The smaller generators have been banned by the Federal Government because it is causing air pollution and destruction of our lungs and breathing system. That is why they have banned it but people are still interested in smuggling them in, that is why we intercepted them. “If you go to the market, you still see them because people have imported them before the ban. So it is the leftover they had before the ban that they are selling because the law did not backdate the ban and it is not an absolute prohibition. “It is prohibition by trade which means you cannot bring it in large quantity and sell to the public. That is the type of prohibition we have on this but if you buy one piece, Customs will not seize it. “We will not relent in our efforts. When we see any prohibited item, we will seize, arrest the people and we will allow the law court to take decision on prosecuting them. So it is better for them to stop smuggling than to continue when they know Customs will catch up with them",
he said.

UPDATES ON PARIS BOMBING

A bloodied and half naked suspect was seen dragged through broken glass as SWAT teams and special forces surrounded an apartment in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis - close to the Stade de France - in a siege that started at 4.30am this morning.
French media are reporting the architect of the plan that killed 129 people, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 27, is alive and inside the flat - until now it was thought he was in Syria orchestrating the Paris attacks from ISIS capital Raqqa.

A woman who may be Abaaoud's jihadi bride is said to have fired her AK-47 at police before blowing herself up as an assault squad stormed the apartment block. Survivors of the Bataclan massacre where 89 people died insisted there was a female shooter.

As she tried to kill police this morning a rooftop sniper shot dead another terror suspect through a window. Police have confirmed that three people in the apartment were taken alive and arrested while two others were held 'nearby' with security forces still trying to 'neutralise' more holed-up in the flat.

An innocent person on the street may have been killed in the crossfire and at least five police have been injured in the ferocious gunfight. The terrorists also shot and killed a police dog.

One of the nine suspected massacre shooters Salah Abdeslam, 26, who has been subject to an international manhunt focussed on Belgium, may also be inside.
Teams of armed police appeared on a street outside the Saint-Denis flat before dawn today and then at least three trucks of soldiers and special forces arrived as back up.
Witnesses told MailOnline there have been periods of intense machine gun fire and at least seven large explosions, caused by the suicide bomber and possibly hand grenades, as the siege continues. There are no hostages involved.
